Meet Eive
Eive is our demonstration fully electric 2cv van.
Fundamentally Eive is a brand-new van, it was build from mostly all new parts.
Here’s a list of just some of the new parts:
MCC chassis, This original Citroen chassis is manufactured in Cassis, using the original Citroën tooling, ensuring compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Its cataphoresis treatment makes it a very high quality chassis, guaranteed for 10 years against corrosion.. new body and panels, All new brakes and brake pipes, spring tubes, rear brake drums, rebuilt steering rack and gearbox, wiring loom, wheels and tyres, all wheels and arm bearings, shock absorbers, king pins, lights, all the interior, and the list goes on and on and on,
If the parts was available new we fitted it. The only things you can see whitch is not new is the front door glass and frames.
Eive is fitted with a 10 Kwh lithium iron phosphate battery. it has a real world range of 65 miles. Which is perfect for Local and City driving.
We did a range test with Eive in central London and got over 75 miles of range, BUT it took us a day and a half to do the 75 miles in central London.
Eive is painted in this lovely Citroen Grey. Currently Eive is wrapped in black with the channel 4 logo on the van.
Channel 4 hired Eive for the Paralympics in Paris. and had the body wrapped in black. so if you buy Eive you have a Choice of two colours black or grey.

Eive will have a new MOT plus we will also Carry out a full service.
We will put our 12 month warranty or 8000 miles whatever comes first. Plus a 3 year battery guarantee.
Eive batteries are guaranteed to be at least 80% of their original capacity after 2,500 charge cycles. This means if you fully charge your Eive twice a week every week, it will take 24 years to reach the 2500 charge cycles or approximately 175000 miles.
We will also Carry out a full cavity wax injection.

We put the same loving care into our restored 2cv‘s as we do to a full rebuild.
When we restore any of our 2cv’s we have a 422 point check list we go through for every restored 2cv.
There is a Link here with it all on so you can see for yourself what a thorough job we do.
A large number of our customers buy a 2cv from us just by seeing the photos on our web site. The first time they see the 2cv in person is on the day they collect the 2cv or when we deliver it.
So as a peace of mind we offer all customers who buy a restored 2cv from us a full refund of their deposit if on the day of Collection or delivery the 2cv is not in the condition you were expecting, . (If you paid for delivery. we cannot refund the delivery cost)
We work on a no rush and no hard sale policy with customers.
We never have sales prices on our 2cv’s. The price is the Price. We will never say “this price ends today, you need to think fast as we have somebody coming this afternoon to buy it”. NO!
If you need a little time to think about it then take your time. We are happy to put your name on a 2cv until 10am the next day. (no deposit required) so you can have time to make the right decision before committing without the risk of someone else buying it later in the day.
If you are new to the wonderful world of the Citroen 2cv, then welcome!
On the day you collect (or we deliver) your new 2cv we will spend as much time with you as you need to get used to your new friend. Generally speaking 10 to 20 minutes is sufficient time for most people to feel confident driving a 2cv. if you need more time, no problem. We can even show you how to take the seats out for when you have your picnic!
We can deliver our 2cv’s world wide. If it is within Europe I normally deliver the 2cv myself, please contact us for a delivery price.
If it is outside Europe we use the company CARS https://www.carseurope.net. If you would like to arrange your own transport, we are happy to take it to any port (cost might apply).
All of our restored sales 2cvs come with a warranty. The warranty depends on the 2cv but all of our restored 2cvs will come with a minimum of 3 months warranty.
However, if something goes wrong when your 2cv is only just outside of the warranty, we want to know about it so please let us know.
